When DS3 (45Mb) isn’t enough, the next step up in the traditional digital hierarchy is Optical Carrier service (OC). Traditional Optical Carrier service is designed to offer very high speed transport and is commonly used to support aggregation of lower level time division multiplexed circuits like DS3 and DS1s in hub and spoke network topologies.

The T1 Company offers a complete range of Optical Service connections including OC3, OC12, OC48, OC192 and beyond.

Installation interval for OC services typically range from 90 to 150 days, but can be longer if special construction is required.
